1- I’m not tired of being nice because I prioritize boundary-setting & self-care

I set boundaries that being nice all the time is not always necessary for me. This allows me to have control over my own actions. And I can decide when it’s appropriate to be nice and when it’s not.

Actually, we should always prioritize self-care. Being nice all the time can be exhausting, and taking a break is a form of self-care. Sometimes I say “no” because it is a nice way to prioritize my own needs and take a step back when necessary. 

2- So I know well how to stop being nice to everyone

  • I know that recognizing and challenging negative self-talk. And replacing negative thoughts with more positive and realistic ones is a great way to stop being nice to everyone. 
  • So you should practice self-compassion. Be kind and understanding towards yourself, instead of always being overly self-critical.
  • Speak up for yourself and confidently communicate your thoughts and feelings. They are considering which relationships are healthy and which ones may be draining your energy and time. 
  • Let go of the need to please everyone & choose people who choose you. Remember that you can’t please everyone all the time, and that’s okay.
  • Focus on your own happiness. Prioritize your own happiness and well-being, instead of constantly trying to make others happy.
